Disaster recovery planning

Disaster Recovery Planning

A disaster recovery plan (DRP) is a documented, structured approach with instructions for responding to unplanned incidents.

This step-by-step plan consists of the precautions to minimise the effects of a disaster so the organisation can continue to operate or quickly resume mission-critical functions. Typically, disaster recovery planning involves an analysis of business processes and continuity needs. Before generating a detailed plan, an organisation often performs a business impact analysis (BIA) and risk analysis (RA), and it establishes the recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO).

Penetration Testing

Penetration Testing

Penetration testing is a systematic process of probing for vulnerabilities in your applications and networks. It is essentially a controlled form of hacking in which the ‘attackers’ operate on your behalf to find the sorts of weaknesses that criminals exploit.

The process of penetration testing involves assessing your chosen systems for any potential weaknesses that could result from poor or improper system configuration, known and unknown hardware or software flaws, and operational weaknesses in process or technical countermeasures.

Cyber Forensics

Cyber Forensics

Computer forensics is the practice of collecting, analysing and reporting on digital data in a way that is legally admissible. It can be used in the detection and prevention of crime and in any dispute where evidence is stored digitally. Computer forensics follows a similar process to other forensic disciplines, and faces similar issues. It can be used in many areas including;
* Intellectual Property theft
* Industrial espionage
* Employment disputes
* Fraud investigations
* Forgeries
* Bankruptcy investigations
* Inappropriate email and internet use in the work place
* Regulatory compliance

Managed Firewalls

Managed Firewalls

A Managed firewall is a service provided by qualified managed security services providers (MSSPs) to address security threats and to monitor your network traffic to understand what it typically looks like, so that atypical use can be easily identified and corrected. The security professionals who monitor your network provide analysis and reporting as part of the managed firewall package. Citadel Cyber Security along with Just Firewalls are vastly experienced in this area and can provide solutions from small businesses up to the use of Firewall Sandwich solutions.

Security Consultancies

Security Consultancy

Our cyber security consulting looks at risk and vulnerability assessments, security improvement plans, compliance checks, insider threat analysis, threat trends, training services, recovery planning and security audits. We can the provide solutions for each area should they be required. We also provide security management services including network and device management, incident response and advanced investigation/analytics for dealing with advanced threats.

Cyber Incident Response

Cyber Incident Response

The speed at which you identify a breach, combat the spread of malware, prevent access to data and remediate the threat will make a significant difference in controlling risk, costs and exposure during an incident.
Under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), organisations will need to implement an effective incident response plan to contain any damage in the event of a data breach, and to prevent future incidents from occurring.
